Here are some things I bought for
my circuit from various places. Figures Carrera spectator set
These carrera figures are superbly detailed and painted, some even have air horns in their hands! They have moving arms and heads. They are modern figures so don't go superbly with the old scalextric ones. I use these figures on the picnic benches and in the 2nd grandstand. Scalextric classic figures
These figures are well painted but they are in old fashioned clothes so they don't go well with the modern carrera figures. SRA figures
Bought the marshals, TV crew, drivers and spectator SRA figure sets from the internet. The cost about £12 each set. They look great when they are painted. Cast in pewter they are highly detailed and durable. All SRA figures are modern so look excellent on most circuits. Buildings 2 Scalextric classic grandstands
These grandstands look a lot more realistic than the new stadium type ones. I have enough painted figures to fill one stand and have a lot more still to paint to fill the other stand. Scalextric Classic Goodyear and Dunlop bridge
These bridges look great over the track in there assigned places. The Goodyear one cost £20 new and the no longer produced 2nd hand Dunlop bridge cost £7.
Static vehicles JCB telescopic handler
I bought this static vehicle from eBay for £8 and looks realistic and is to scale. Range Rover ambulance I bought this static vehicle on the internet for £10. It came with the trailer parked behind it. It looks quite realistic, but looks better without the trailer attached. On the box it says it is 1:32 scale but comparing it to my slot cars it looks more like 1:34 scale.
Other Scalextric programme seller
I also bought this programme seller from the slot car show it is in good condition and only cost £1.
Fencing
The spectator fencing I have on my track is subbuteo table football fencing and some old farm fence the subbuteo fencing is slightly out of scale but it still looks great. The farm fencing is more to scale but a bit flimsy and occasionally falls down. Howard scenic supplies
I bought these benches ,bins ,vending machines and signs from Howard scenic supplies and they are of excellent quality and look superb on my layout. Scalextric gate
I bought this scalextric gate from a local slot car show. It cost me £5 and is in mint condition and complete. Fly pit walls Bought for £7 each from eBay Tyre walls
Bought from slot track scenics, tyre walls are £1:99 a length which is about the length of a quarter straight.
